Long Time No Write

Diz II had a recent attack on his laboratory where he writes about the tales of Sevyon. He had to defeat his attackers single-handedly and then repair the laboratory before he could tell any more of his tale. Thankfully he has fixed his place back up and has written another chapter in the story. Check it out!

The Crud Muffin

This is what I look like after I have mowed my lawn, another lawn, and washed our van. I came inside and I was all nasty and I looked at my mom and said "Wow... I look like a crud muffin". This is the epitimy of crud muffinry.

Pirates of the Carribean III: At World's End

Well... I thought this would be a normal movie description like I would give to my friends about all the movies I see, but this movie was a little different.
I walked out of the movie theatre not knowing whether I liked the movie or not... It was the absolute weirdest and not predictable movie that I have seen in my entire life... I don't know whether I loved it, hated it, or something in betweened it.
I will say that it is quite grusome... There is a lot more nasty things that happen. The beginning of the movie shows a ton of pirates getting hanged... I know I wouldn't recommend it for younger children.
I don't think that there was a lot of language in it. That's a plus...
One of the weirdest (I'm not sure whether I liked it or not) things about the movie was that I really had no idea what was happening until about 1:45 into the movie. It took forever for the plot to develop. It kept me guessing... One plus was that the movie was nearly 3 hours long... I love long movies!
There were quite a few funny things in the movie... A lot of them were plays on other lines from the other two though...
I will say that it was a lot better than the second one... Which I didn't care for too much because it was mainly just a really long intro to the third one. To say whether I liked it as much as the first one, I would have to see it a couple more times. Intead of trying to enjoy the movie, mostly I was trying to understand the plot.
I'm not quite sure whether I liked the ending though... Not the very ending (Which pretty much closes things up really well), but I don't know if I really liked how everything panned out... Kinda weird really...
Another weird thing about it was that the movie spends a lot of time building on the plot of this one character, then when the character comes into play, it is never seen again... I'm not sure I get it?...
Overall, it was just a weird experience, but people who want to know what happens to their favorite pirates should see it!

The Wedding and Polarity

If you haven't heard of The Wedding, then you are really missing out. (If you've listened to my recording of the song "But A Breath" that is on the Imagine Cup Winners website under the Just Chillin' page, that song was originally done by The Wedding.) They are a Christian band that I'm pretty sure is based around the East (I'm guessing ARK) and this May they had their second cd come out. I looked everywhere for it, but couldn't locate it. I was so unhappy. I have their first cd (self-titled) and I loved it. It was amazing, with love songs and songs that talked about things spiritual. They won my award for best first cd by a band ever (Even passing my absolute favorite band of all time, Switchfoot). Their cd can be bought at Wal-Mart for only $10. I guess that's one of the good things about liking a band that nobody knows much about. You can get their cds for cheap. Anyway, I just bought their new cd, Polarity, the other day and I love it! I think that my favorite tracks right now are "Say Your Prayers" and "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead". Say Your Prayers is a song written from God talking to the church today. One of my favorite lines from it is in the chourous where it says, "You wanna walk with me? Do ya?... If you love Me, then just love Me. Don't you give Me pretty words. Lay your life down at the alter. Let Me see how serious you are." This line has really made me think a lot the last couple days... The other one, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, talks about spiritual warfare and begins with a little intro on the bagpipes (Thanks to a member of Flatfoot56, whose music I really want to listen to). It is really really cool too!
There is a bonus track after the last song on the cd that is pretty cool. It is about Arkansas. It is really funny, but I don't want to give everything away... Just go out and buy the cd! It's only $10!
Their webiste can be found at www.theweddingrocks.com .

American Idol

I just finished watching the American Idol Finale and I would like to talk about it to anyone that will listen. My favorite contestant this year (And possibly of all the seasons) Blake Lewis got second this year. I was slightly unhappy yet I know he will do well. One of the reasons I liked him was because of his amazing beatboxing skills, which he displayed tonight with flying colors... It was simply amazing! I'm sad that he didn't win, but hey... I'll get over it... life goes on...

Various Happenings in My Boring Life

Well... I haven't really done anything that special since the weekened so I thought I'd post about the normal stuff going on in my life.
I've started my summer piano lesson schedule (I only have like 6 lessons in the summer) so I don't have to go every week! I'm so happy! I had one of my lessons the other day. This summer I am mainly going to be working on chording hymns. My parents want me to learn how to just look at some hymns and be able to chord them well enough to do it when our church is shorthanded (Or any church in my future) and play for the congregation.
On another note, I have lost 4.5 lbs. over the last two weeks. Something is wrong with me... I should not be losing weight...
Also, I got to go to the gym and play a lot of basketball today! It was really fun!
Tomorrow I get to spend the night at some friends and I get to see Pirates of the Carribean III! I'm so excited about it. ASAP I will post a comment about what I thought about it. I don't know if it will compare with Spider-Man III though... We'll just have to see...

What Happened Over the Weekend

This weekend pretty much rocked! My sister's b-day went well. She had a good time with her friends (I don't know how late they stayed up). So I'm happy for her about that.
Saturday was my last soccer game that I have to ref for this season. I'm a little bit glad it's over. I don't like having to not be able to do anything late on Friday nights because I have to wake up and ref on Saturdays. On the other hand, I will miss not earning the money...
Saturday was also Mrs. Woida's 40th birthday. There was a party at Hannah's nameless friend's house and I think that Mrs. Woida enjoyed herself. I had a really fun day too! If I took the time to say all the fun things I did, it would take up so much of your time reading that you wouldn't even post a comment so I'll just let it go with that.
Sunday was the last day of Awana for me. It's not that I don't like Awana, but I will enjoy having my Sunday afternoons free. I just didn't like to have to come home from church, eat, then almost immediately have to go right back.
Sunday night was really fun, and we had a snac at my friend 7-Ups house. I played some football and basketball and did a little breakdancing and singing as well. It was a very entertaining evening.

The only really bad thing that happened over the weekened was really very depressing. Upon a sudden gust of wind, my friend Elmer lost his footing and suffered a severe trauma to his cranium. It seems he has been decapitated. My next period of time will be me planning what I should do. Whether I should just buy a new electric/acoustic or whether it is worth paying the money to replace Elmer's mutilation. He was a good guitar...

Note: Diz II has continued his tale.

The Funniest Video I've Seen in a Long Time (How You Killed Your Brand)

My friend Jacob told me that I needed to watch this one video. It is a parody of the song "How to Save a Life", but it is making fun of the PS3 and promoting the 360. IT is stinking funny! All of your video game nerds out there need to watch this. I can't explain how funny it is. The only thing bad about it is that there is one bad word. You can find it here.

My Sister's B-day is Tomorrow

Tomorrow (May 18th) is my sister's 12th b-day. She is having some of her friends over and I think that she is really excited. I'm mean to her a lot, but she's actually really cool. We can talk a lot and just be really goofy together. Today I was really happy because she gave me a new pair of headphones that she had (Mine fully broke this morning). She can be really kind. Not to say that she is perfect, but she is my sister, and I love her very much.

Note: Diz II has released a shorter chapter in the life of Sevyon explaining what happened at "The Battle of the Basement".

Some Happenings in My Life

Okay... first big happening! I have finally completed the trio of the best Mario video games ever. Last night I finally defeated the last Bowser on Mario 3! I have now beat Mario Bros., Mario 3, and Super Mario World (Which are the best Mario games ever made by pretty much everyone's opionion.) I have been trying off and on to beat Mario 3 for a long time, but until now I was unsuccessful.

Next thing... I watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze. It was pretty good. It was a lot stupider than the new one (even though that's not really a word), but it did have it's moments. The best part was when they busted into this dance club where who other than Vanilla Ice was having a concert. They had a big fight in the club while he sang a "Go Ninja" song... It was really cool... especially when the turtles started busting some moves theirselves. The entire movie was worth watching for that part alone.

Finally, to who it may concern. Diz II has recently posted some more information on the lives of Sevyon and Rangorax.

WarCraft II: Tides of Darkness

The game came out in 1995, but my dad waited awhile before he got it. (I don't exactly know how long) The game became very popular among me and my younger friends. (At the time we were about 5 or 6 years old). My dad would not allow me to play the actual game because it was rather violent (Comparitively for the day, plus I was too little), but he made up some scenerios that me and my friends would play over and over. Over the years the game was fogotten and got buried in a closet where it was never played, but upon cleaning, I discovered it. I remembered all the memories that I had playing this game, and even though I didn't know what the game was about, I wanted to play it.
I took out the instruction manual and have since, read it cover to cover numerous times, but my computer would not allow me to play it... It was very disapointing to say the least. Nevertheless, we have recently aquired a new computer in this household and I tried out the game. It worked! I was overjoyed. I have recently played and beaten the first three levels on the human campain. Though extremely simple to play, the storyline on this game is massively deep. (A quality that I strongly desire in the games I choose to play). While on the outside, it appears to be a normal human vs. orcs game, it is much more, and I am enjoying taking the side of the valiant humans trying to defend the nation of Azeroth against the savage, blood-thirsty Horde. I will keep everyone updated as to what is happening in Azeroth as it pans out.

Chapter 1 in My Newest Story

For those of you who are unaware, I have been working on a parallel story to Kingdom Hearts. By "Parallel" I mean that it happened at the same time and so the characters in the story will experience some of the same events and meet some of the same people as the normal Kingdom Hearts characters did. I have recently posted the first chapter under my other blogspot page at www.DizII.blogspot.com . I am trying to mold the story in a fashion that those who know nothing about Kingdom Hearts will still be able to understand it. If you have some spare time, please check it out and leave some comments on the page. TY!

Today's Plans

This morning I had to referee two soccer games. They went pretty well, but I had the weirdest thing happened to me during one of them. One player kicked the ball at the goal. It hit the goalpost and bounced down completely over the line then went out and the goalie caught it. How is that physically possible? It was the weirdest thing... I flagged for a goal (because it was), but nobody understood it... I didn't even understand it myself... anyway... it's lot like it mattered... the game ended 6-2.
This afternoon I get to go to my buddy Jared's house then we are going to a play at his school tonight. Some of my youth group went to see it the other day and they liked it so I probably will too.

Could it Be TRUE!!?!??!

For the nerdy readers:
I recently visited the Kingdom Hearts Insider webpage to see something I've been greatly wanting to see yet not expecting. A bunch of techies were recently able to view a new teaser trailer for a possible new Kingdom Hearts! After the ending of KHII, I had believed that they were ending the series. It's not for sure, but I've never hoped that I was wrong more than now. It won't be announced officially until some other techy comfrence (See article), but I sooo hope that they make one. It would give me a reason to actually buy into the new generation video game systems (right now I have no reason to).

What Happened at My Dad's B-day Party and My Piano Rectial

Well... the piano recital went really well. I was extremely nervous and all, but I didn't make any massively noticable mistakes... (BTW, TY for all of my companions who came and watched... the emotional support really does help!) The worst thing was that I had to play the soft pedal on this one song and I was so nervous that my leg was shaking and it was effecting my playing. I had to lean into my leg that way it would quit shaking... Also, the fact that when I'm nervous I sweat more sweat then I normally shower in doesn't help much. Also, Jared and my duet went pretty well. We stayed together and I don't think we really messed up too much. Granted, we didn't give it as much soul as we do just normally, but hey... nerves do bad things... The coolest part was that afterwords we got to climb this massive dirt pile and run down and climb it again over and over... It was sooooo tight! The first time I went down the hill I pulled a faceplant in the mud... Wicked sweet! Also, props go to Hannah who did it even though she was wearing nice clothes.
After getting all dirtied up we came back to my house for my dad's b-day party. We had some cake and ice cream and sang happy birthday... It was pretty good. Also, me and my buddies sang some songs w/ Elmer. We started to play manhunt, but all of the party guests had to leave. How unfortunate... Anyways... It all went good. My dad is getting a new chair for his b-day. He hasn't picked it out yet though... He'll like it I'm sure.

Something to Pray For

Last night after youth group after nearly everyone had gone home from church (My parents were staying and talking like always). A lady came up to our church and was looking at tracts. My dad asked her if she needed anything and she started talking to him. He figured that it would be better if a lady would talk to her (by the stuff that she said) and led her to Mrs. Kersey (My good buds madre). Mrs. Kersey and my mother talked to this woman for at least an hour. She has a lot of problems in her life, but most of all she needs something bigger. She needs Christ. The ladies from our church encouraged her to go to the ladies home near our church, but she was afraid of confinement. If you get a chance, please pray for this woman's salvation. She needs it.

Some Graffiti

One of my hobbies that I have is to spray paint pictures on the computer. I've done some pretty good ones (If I may say so myself) and I thought I would show you guys one my best ones... One of my favorite details about this one is how the youngest boy (In the bottom left) looks like Chuck Norris. Also, fans of the Imagine Cup Winners website will notice Joe the Ravioli on the right... lol...

My Dad's B-day or My Piano Rectial

This Friday is my dad's 40th birthday. I'm excited for him. (Even though I call him old... lol) He has been trying to guess what we are getting him. The other day he was spraying everyone w/ water who wouldn't tell him what it was... needless to say, we were all pretty wet. The only unfair part is I don't know what he's getting yet, so he didn't really have an excuse to shoot me...

This Friday is also my piano recital... I'm kinda nervous, but hey... It's not like I'm playing for a judge or something. I'm just playing in front of a bunch of people some of whom know me... No pressure... I get to play a pretty cool Amazing Grace duet w/ my good pal Jared. I'm thinking about the possibility of someday recording that...

Do YOU Like to Read?

I was thinking about posting some of my previously written work on the Imagine Cup Winners page. If anyone would be interested or detested in/by reading anything I have written, please give some input... I like to entertain people... It's one of my hobbies... If I know what people like, it's a lot easier to do... So... Is reading fun?

Could the Loch Ness Monster Exist?

Hey... I've been working on a research paper on the existence of the Loch Ness monster. I put the paper itself as a document under the Just Chillin' page on the Imagine Cup Winners page. Please check it out if you get a chance and post something!

Unless you fall under one of those 14 clauses then I request that you at least let me know who you are when you post something... Peace!

Explanation

I have recently removed a comment that was posted on my blog. I have nothing against the person whose comment I removed. I merely removed it because he/she posted a spoiler for Spider-Man 3 that I asked the person to remove from his/her own site since he/she told me not to spoil it. So, I removed the comment w/ all due respect.

Spider-Man 3

Oh yeah baby... I saw Spider-Man 3 twice now and I think I'm ready to post my thoughts.

First of all, even though I thought TMNT was really good, this movie was 3.14159 T times better. (metric system... don't try to figure it out, just know that it's a large number) The action in this movie was stinking sweet. The movie was spread througout with amazing fight scenes! Spider-Man got to do some major bad guy fighting on this one! With three villians, there was tons of new Spider moves to be seen.

Also, the plot line (though slightly predictable... all movies are) was pretty amazing too, but something pretty sweet was that the movie was funny. Something I liked about the 90's Spider-Man cartoons was that they were funny (though full w/ depressing life stories of people being turned into mutants). This movie lived up to the old cartoons and was a very humerous movie!

One of the best parts about this movie is that it has morals as a theme. I liked that about the first Spider-Man too where the most known line was, "With great power, comes great responsibility" (Which sounds a lot like something from the Bible). The morals of this movie are something that everyone could learn about... Forgiveness, and that there is always the choice to do what is right...

The only bad thing in the movie was that there was some language... a small amount, but some nonetheless. Also, younger children w/ active imaginations would probably be scared of some of the things that happen in the movie. (Hey, I saw it twice and still jumped in my seat when some things happened... Let it go everyone who's planning on making fun of me... I'm just a very high strung person... lol)

Needless to say, this is the best installment in the Spider-Man movie series. I'm hoping someday that they'll make a Spider-Man 4, but I'm pretty sure that they won't... They'll probably just cash in... sigh... so goes life...

A Rather Large, Unimportant in the Grand Scheme of Life Complaint

Ok... To those of you who watch American Idol:
This year. I am a Blake Lewis fan atw! He is so cool. I even like his fashion sense and hair stlye... but since the show is musical and singing I will say that I love his voice and style of music, and yes, I am down with is beatboxing... Well, this last song that he did on Bon Jovi night was my absolute favorite by him so far. The song was extremely catchy and he took a huge risk mixing up the song the way he did, but I thought it was amazing...! I was thinking about downloading it from iTunes when I listened to the demo... The big beatboxing thing was cut out... All you could hear instead was the guitar playing in the background... I was SOOOO not happy! That was one of the things that made the song as good as it was... I am very disapointed in the people who put that track together and I'm here to let them know that I'm not down w/ that...

40th Post! Hooray or Spider-Man 3

Hooray... I've now reached my 40th post... I'm soooo excited!

I get to see Spider-Man 3 tonight... I'm sooooo excited about that too! I am a huge fan of the Spider-Man movies and Spider-Man is definitely my favorite super hero... The new one looks soo cool. When I get back I'm going to do a massive post on it... I'll try to not to give the movie away though :-)

(Note: The title was kind of a play on the old Rocky and Bullwinkle show... Does anyone else even know what that is?)

TMNT

Me, my bro, and my companion Kersey went and saw TMNT the other day... Here's what I thought about it...

To people that have already tried watching teenage mutant ninja turtles tv shows or movies and didn't like them because they were stupid, you will hate this one too. It was quite predictable and the punch lines from the show were extremely uncatchy and not very funny.

To people like me that have always been facinated with the (though I was never allowed to watch the tv show or see any of the previous movies) four enlarged adolecent shelled ninjas, I thought the movie was pretty stinking sweet! I have gained a small level of knowledge about the Turtles from playing some TMNT video games, so it wasn't so bad, but I would love to learn more about them. Anyways... The animation on the movie was very cartoony feeling... it was perfect for this movie... It is something that nerdy people and young kids will both like.

My personal favorite part of the movie was (This might be a litle bit of a spoiler, but the movie is so predictable that you know it's coming anyway) when Leonardo fights his brother Rafael... That fight was soooooo sweet! I want to watch the movie again just for that part!

I only had 2 real complaints with the movie... The first one is that it was only about 1:30 long... I konw I'm nerdy when I say this, but I love to watch a good 2.5 -3 hour movie... The movie could have been a little longer, w/ some more fight scenes and stuff... The other problem that I had w/ the movie was this: Whenever anyone plays the TMNT video games, who does everyone want to be? Michaelangelo of course... Everyone likes Mikey. Not only because he's funny (in a really stupid way), but because of his nunchucks... It's just really cool to watch someone swing around nunchucks while going medival on some foots hineys... The unfortunate part is that it doesn't show Mikey fight that much... If Mikey used his chucks more and the movie was an hour or so longer, this movie would have been way way better even though it was really good already...

Kingdom Hearts

Okay... My friend Josh recently posted on his blog something that implied that I did not like the Kingdom Hearts video games series... This, in fact is actually quite the oppisite as Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorite video game series... I will now give a brief description... People who actually read this whole post are really good friends as it will probably bore you to death.

On a peaceful group of islands known as Destiny Islands, there lived three friends. Their names were Kairi (Female: 14), Sora (Male: 14), and Riku (Male: 14). As the three kids were maturing, they wondered if there really was more to life than there little island... All they could see was water for miles around... As they pondered the deep thoughts of life, they decided to build a boat and sail somewhere else... anywhere else...

While preparing the boat, Sora (the main character of the story) stumbled across a door that he'd never seen before. It was located in a secret cave that he often hung out in. The door had no handle, and it fasinated Sora... While Sora admired the door, someone came out wearing a hood. Sora didn't see his face, and he didn't comprehend what the man said, "This world has been connected. Tied to the darkness...soon to be completely eclipsed. You do not yet know what lies beyond the door. There is so very much to learn. You understand so little."
Sora replied back: "Oh, yeah? Well, you'll see. I'm gonna get out and learn what's out there!"
The hooded man merely said, "A meaningless effort. One who knows nothing can understand nothing." and disappeared."

Sora left the cave... He didn't understand what the man had been talking about... That night (The night before they left on their raft) something very weird happened. Whislt Sora was lying in bed, a portal opened in the skies and tons of creatures called Heartness began pouring onto Destiny Islands. Sora ran out to try and find the raft to see if his friends were there. When he got there, Riku was standing on the dock. A portal appeared under Riku and began to pull him away... Sora tried to grab on, but was seperated from his friend as he himself was also sucked through a portal.

Upon awakening, Sora found himself on a strange world called Traverse Town. His friends were gone and he was alone.

Thus begins the story (with quite a bit left out for the benefit of the reader) of Kingdom Hearts. The game has a very deep and stimulating unique storyline, but mixed into the games own storyline are some interesting other storylines. As you go throughout the game, you will go through many Kingdom Hearts worlds, but also you will go through almost all of the cartoon Disney movies. Disney's Donald and Goofy are your compaions throughout the game, and King Mickey (Mouse) is King over all of the worlds, but not only are Disney characters mixed into Kingdom Hearts... Characters from Final Fantasy are in the game too. Most of the Final Fantasy characters are from FFVII, but there are some from other games mixed in. Quite possibly the most known characters from Final Fantasy, Cloud and Sepheroth, are in both Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 (as well as the gameboy version which is like Kingdom Hearts 1.5).

The makers of Kingdom Hearts did not try to keep it low budget. They went all out! With such known voices as Christy Carlson Ramano, Brittany Snow, Jessie McCartney, Haley Joel Osment, and Christopher Lee. (as well as others) Also, many of the characters from the Disney movies that are in the game have their original voiceovers (though some have cheezy imitations... hey... it can't be all perfect!).

I recommend anyone who likes a good RPG to play Kingdom Hearts... You will love it! I also would recommend this as a good RPG for younger children as it has a good low rating (E), and is reletively simple to play. For people that don't like video games, but would like to know more about it... I have downloaded the scripts from all three games onto my computer and can try to present it in a fasinating way (Though not as good as the game does itself)... If these games were made into a movie, it would probably sell out all over the country...

Now... to those of you that actually read that entire thing (I'm guessing that if you actually read it then you actually like the game) I have recently read some interesting things about Kingdom Hearts... Though I doubt they will ever make a Kingdom Hearts III (after seeing the end to KHII) They are doing something really really cool. They are making a new version of KHII that you can buy with a remade version of KHCoM and might be selling it in the US this fall! But guess what... it gets even better! The CoM remake will be for the PS2 and will be fully 3D with lots of new features added! Also, the remake of KHII will have more stuff on Organization XIII and will further develop Roxas and Axel's friendship... It is really really cool looking. There is a webpage called Kingdom Hearts Insider (you should just be able to google it) that has the information I just stated, plus a lot more... If you are a fan of the game, then you have to check it out!!!
