First matter. Switchfoot. I went to their site the other day and read the following information (That you can check out for yourself if you really want to... assuming you don't trust me or something). Switchfoot has now gone independent (I almost spelled that independant.... ROFL... inside joke). They have decided to leave Columbia records. They have a new cd coming out planned for next year. (I didn't see a name yet). Also, their tour coming up this fall doesn't even come anywhere near me... sigh... why is it that nobody likes Nebraska? Hardly any cool concerts come here! It's not like we're the complete middle of nowhere... I mean even the American Idol auditions came here to the Quest this year... sigh...
Some news on Jon Foreman... He is coming out with four solo EPs tenatively called Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. He is also coming out with some other projects that I read about such as The Real SeanJon. I have heard some of his solo stuff that I found for free download on Switchfoot's site. They are pretty stinking cool, as is a song that was written by him and a another girl. I love Jon Foreman's writing style. God has really blessed him with a way to write words down in a cool/deep way. Whether he's talking about problems with the world, God, or something having to do with girls, he can make the words fit in cool ways. Two of the free downloadable songs prove that. (Learning How to Die, and The Ones Who Look Like You). Both of those songs are really good! I suggest that you listen to them sometime!
Now for the stuff on my life. Sigh... Unfortunately one of my best friends whom I have known for a long time (Jared Williams) is going off to college. Tonight was probably the last time I'll see him until Christmas. I'm going to miss him. We've done a lot together!
Mark Connolly, a single from our church, also leaves for college tomorrow (The same in fact, Bob Jones) and it has been cool getting to know him and talk to him and I'm sad that he's leaving too.
On a positve note, my family (Save my dad) are leaving for Ohio this Tuesday. I love going out to visit my grandparents! They are so funny and I love them to death! We always have a good time up there! A cool thing about the trip is that I get drive for some of it! Hooray! I love to drive at high speeds! lol.
Also, the Wilson girls are visiting in 17 days as of today and I'm really looking forward to that. I have known them for 10 years now (Over half my life) and it is always really fun to hang out with them. I am also looking forward to introducing them to all my friends here!

I keep forgetting to check out those songs and whenever I think to do it someone is on the computer with speakers. Have fun in Ohio! How long do you guys get to stay there? See you in 17 days!!!
you should try out for American Idol, just for fun. I have to listen to those songs, but now I have to go make popcorn
First matter... Whoever was that clever friend who had the inside joke with you about independence?! Everyone know's how to spell that. LOL That totally stinks that Switchfoot isn't coming to Nebraska! But you gotta admit, there's not much here.lol Jon Foreman can write some pretty good songs! Like Gone. =D lol
It also stinks that Jared and Mark are leaving... Lol Mark was so funny tonight! I'm gonna miss both of them. =( Hope you have a good time in Ohio though!
I don't much to say except switchfoot rocks and im tired.
